The student society is an uncontrollable and in some way a mystical group

. They manage to visit lectures, libraries, do homework, play guitar, sing, dance, write essays to a local newspaper, shoot films and so on and all it simultaneously. It is reflected in their list of extracurricular activities.

But time is not enough sometimes even for studying, so a student should carefully plan his/her timetable and thoroughly choose his/her hobbies. They go to school not only to study, but to meet together, to socialize and to pursue their interests.

It gives students the opportunity to advance their specific interests in different fields and to spend their free time together.

The Role of Extracurricular Activities in Applying for a Job

Besides, there is one more important point in visiting such groups: you make new friends and get useful experience. If a student hasnt managed to get working experience yet, an employee may ask him/her about extracurricular activities. Nobody likes lazybones. And successful achievements in extracurricular activities, especially, if they are somehow connected with desirable job (writing essay might be quite useful for a future journalist) may benefit your candidature.

In the long run, extracurricular activities are simply pleasant, make good memories and help to develop your personality fully.
