As a financial advisor, I have been engaged in the fulfillment of one purpose: to assist professionals in achieving truly affluent economic conditions and financial security. In our modern society, it has been difficult for Americas families to achieve this condition as evidenced by the use of debt, taxation, low income and lack of application of natural economic laws.

I have mentioned in other articles about treating your household as a for-profit business. When we do this, workable solutions present themselves. Successful businesses are run with plans, coordination of activity and allocation of all expenses in an effort to receive the greatest economic value for those expenditures. Several methods are used to measure their economic activities and finances such as financial ratios and other statistics.

Heres a question: As a professional, are you more concerned with the economy or your economy?

Yours? Thats what I thought.

You cannot control the economy but you do have control over yours. But, how do we manage our own economy? Well, we cant manage what we cant measure. Furthermore, one cannot get the result one is looking for if the wrong things are being measured.
