. The problem for lot tradesmen is they simple can not get the work in their field, so they have to do odd jobs. Unfortunately, some of the odd jobs that they are doing are installing bathrooms. So what does this mean? Ultimately it means that the individual fitting a consumers new bathrooms may or may not be qualified to do so.

It is becoming hard and harder for consumers to differentiate qualified plumbers from those that are just doing a cowboy job to earn a few extra notes. The reality is that a lot of people are not informed, so this sort of thing will continue to go on for years to come. The only difference is, the people that want to do something about it now, can do straight away.

The great thing for people looking at new bathrooms is that they do have some kind of backbone to lean on. There are a lot of comparison sites, along side sites that offer advice on where to find tradesmen. They tend to pre-screen a lot of the people that they recommend, which means that the consumer does not have to.

There are plenty of ways that a company or individual that is offering new bathrooms can be pre-screened. This might be in the form of checking for companys outstanding debts, lawsuits against the company or even checking if the employees of that company have the right qualifications. The reality is, checks can be done and this can minimise the risk of having a shoddy job done when it comes to replacing new bathrooms.

Another way to notice if the company that is being employed is a professional is to ask to see samples of their previous work. A lot of good companies will have logged the names and addresses of their previous customers and this will give the consumer an idea of their capabilities. That being said, not all will be carrying portfolios, so this does not necessarily mean that they are bad tradesmen.

Finding the right people to fit new bathrooms is never going to be an easy task. With more and more people doing this for their day job every week, it certainly makes it harder to figure out which people to use. Take time over a decision, as it is very important.
