The condition

No one wants a car full of dents and scratches so you obviously want to see what condition the car is in, make sure you do this during the daylight and not when it has been raining. The Mileage

This does have a downside as cars with larger engine capacities will have larger road tax and insurance premiums typically. The Interior

Service History

When buying any car, especially older vehicles you will want to know about the car's history. It is also good to check the mileage is correct, if your current mileage is less than the last test then it is obvious that someone has altered the mileage to make the car seem more appealing, this is often referred to as "clocking".
