Having flabby arms is such a major concern for most women these days because losing
weight in problem areas like the arms really requires an ultimate loss of a big portion of fat. It is very difficult to lose weight in this problem area because a big number of fat cells is deposited in this area.
Your flabby arm exercises should focus on toning the arm muscles. The regular arm exercise often tones up the arms before reducing fat in this problem area. The aerobic type of exercises like walking, cycling and running should be done three to five times per week while weight training can be done up to three times a week only.
An effective flabby arm workout should work on the biceps and triceps to tighten them up and at the same time burn calories faster. The exercises to achieve toned triceps include overhead triceps extensions, French presses, and diamond pushups.
Pushup is a really good arm exercise because it relies on your body weight in working your arm muscles. If a typical pushup seems intimidating for you, you can try doing a modified pushup that is much easier than the usual one. It can be done by lying down on the floor and bending your knees upward.
Aside from pushups, you can also try doing single-arm back pull up where you will need a light dumbbell or a bottle filled with a gallon of water and a chair or stool. The same materials will also be needed in doing biceps curls.
An exercise ball is another helpful tool in your flabby arm exercises. You can push it against the wall forward and backward or push it up and down from the floor.
You can wave goodbye to those flabby arms with consistent flabby arm exercises every day. But all these flabby arm exercises will not guarantee that you can totally get rid of your flabby arms unless you do these workouts while on a diet plan. Watching what you eat and curbing your bad eating habits also play a very important part in maintaining beautifully toned arms. So make sure your exercises should go hand in hand with a healthy diet.
Remember too that spot reduction may not be help in getting you slimmer arms. Like losing fat in any other parts of your body such as the tummy, you have to work on burning body fat and follow through with toning the muscles in that specific area.
