Following the good omens is rather popular at the students campus during the assessment period. In fact, there is nothing bad in it. There are several excuses to consider the positive consequences of the omens in the study process:
positive attitude leads to the positive results;
extra reason for self-confidence during the exam.
What makes students do all those strange things that contradict not only main scientific regulations but the common sense as well?

The things that one may do in order to get a good mark at the exam:
to bring the coins or souvenirs at the exam;
to see a question of the exam in a dream;
But certainly all this is absurd and has no sense at all, when used as a separate method. Paying too much attention to the details and omens and ignoring the actual work with the material will do no good. In fact, some people become too much involved in all this stuff and go far from reality.
One must always stand on the ground and never forget about the laws of nature. There is nothing bad in using omens as extra help for getting the inspiration, positive attitude and to gain optimism.
But the most preparation still should be based on the learning of the material. Investigating omens is acceptable after having read the course books and having found the additional information on the web. Then one may entertain oneself following the omens in order to give rest to the brains.
Following omens is one of the elements of the students preparation for exam. It may be used or not without any serious consequences. But being separated from learning the material is absolutely useless.
