Free Credit Score - When your Credit Report Is Not Enough

You may ask, why should I bother paying my hard earned money to find out what my credit score is? After all you have already seen your free credit report.

That is enough. Right?

Wrong. Your report will alert you to any loans or lines of credit that you may not have taken out and is basically an alert to identity theft.

Aurora Lillo Editor of the "Get MY Credit Report" website -- http://www.GetMyCreditReport.biz -- pointed out;

"...This report will tell you nothing about what a lender would think of you if you went in to get a mortgage or new car loan. Only a credit score report from the three credit bureaus TransUnion, Experian, Equifax can accurately give you the information. That report will not state if your score may be low because you have a high debt ratio. When you go to a lender they will pull your report but what they are most interested in is the credit score. That number determines not only if you will get the loan but also whether or not you get the best interest rates as well..."

In order to get your number you will have to pay a small reasonable fee to a reputable company that provides this service. However, it is absolutely worth it to know your scores. That way you will be aware that with your great score you deserve a better rate than the one the bank or other lending institution is offering. You will also know whether you have a number that is on the average side, but on the cusp of being excellent so that you can take the appropriate steps to get that excellent rating.

If you have had financial troubles in the past be it a bankruptcy or repossession you know that at some point your credit has taken a hit and without a regular credit score report from the three credit bureaus it is impossible for you to gage how your score is improving.

Even if you have a blemish-free report and your credit score is in the high 700's you still need to regularly see your credit score. The typical viewing of your number once a year is not an effective way to quickly determine if someone has stolen your identity.

"...There are many companies out there to confidentially supply you with both your credit report and your credit scores. Make sure you are choosing a reputable service and that you are receiving scores and reports from all three bureaus. One bureau is NOT enough..." added A. Lillo.

By using a credit score service you can enter into your next financial transaction with confidence!
