Freida Pinto A New Face Of Modern Generation

Freida Pinto gained an immense popularity and big fans following the success of Slumdog Millionaire

. She won a ton of awards for the role of Latika in the movie, which includes prestigious Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture and Palm Springs International Film Festival Breakthrough Performance Award. She was also nominated for Best Actress in a Supporting Role in BAFTA awards and BAFTA Award for Best Actress in a Supporting Role. Since then there has been no stop for her. Freida Pinto became somewhat of an icon on the red carpet and soon was famous all over the world. Currently, she is working on You Will meets a Tall Dark Stranger by Woody Allen. She has also completed the work on Miral', which is a Franco-Israeli film based on the interwoven lives of An Israeli and Palestinian woman from the early years of the state through the early 1990s.

Freida Pinto knew that she wanted to become an actress after she graduated from college in 2005. However, she did not have any jobs at hand at that time. She is also endorsing LOreal Paris in spite of previous rumors that she will be signing up with Estee Lauder, which is a rival cosmetic company. She had an opportunity of appearing on the cover page of magazines like Femina, Femina Girl and FNL. Apart from all these achievements, she has appeared in numerous Print Campaigns ranging from jewelry to magazines to mobile phones.

In the fashion circuit, Freida Pinto has truly become a style icon. She already had an experience in modeling before working for movies, so she has a passion for this field. She has been featured in numerous fashion magazines. She has been attending fashion shows for Chanel and Dolce & Gabbana and more recently Louis Vuitton show at the Paris Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2010 in Paris, France. On the personal front, Freida Pinto is currently dating her costar from Slumdog Millionaire, Dev Patel. Previously, she was engaged to her former publicist, Rohan Antao. He had been her boyfriend from eight years, but she called off the engagement amidst the success of the film and increasing rumors of relation between Freida and Dev.
