When you're preparing to go on vacation or on a business trip and you're completing the paperwork for your Frisco pet sitter, you may not think that your pet sitter really wants to know everything. Routines and Schedules: Note down what your pet does or is used to doing throughout the day. Maybe he goes to the bathroom in the morning, eats breakfast and is napping until dinner time. Or maybe he goes for a walk in the morning, eats lunch and needs another walk at night. You pet sitter needs to know! Pets, especially dogs, feel most comfortable and at ease when they have a schedule or routine that they are used to. Whether it be eating dinner at 7pm or getting a treat before bed, they know when it's supposed to happen and usually get anxious when it doesn't. Your Frisco pet sitters' job is to stick to this routine as closely as possible to ensure you pet always feels safe, secure and, of course, happy!

Health Issues and Medications: When your pet is on a regular medication, you probably rarely forget to tell the pet sitter in Frisco about it. However, your pet could have constipation problems or vomiting issues that require medications only when it happens. Are you going to remember to tell the pet sitter about it then? Note down every and any medications that are available in the house for your pet and what they are used for.

Emergency Contacts: We all know that we want to be the first person that is called if there is an emergency with our pet. And you pet sitter will do that, of course. However, when you're on vacation hours, or even states, away, there is not much help that you can physically offer. That's where your emergency contact comes in. On the other hand, if there is severe weather and your pet sitter cannot make it to your house, you want someone close and reliable to be able to make it to your home and provide the right care for your pet.

Fears and Hiding Places: Many people forget to notify their Frisco pet sitter that their pet is afraid of thunderstorms or their cat likes to hide in the attic. These are very important details for your pet sitter to know. If your dog is terrified of thunderstorms, your pet sitter will be able to keep an eye on the weather and provide that company your dog needs during the storm. Or, your cat sitter will not have a heart attack when they are unable to find your cat because she's in her favorite hidey-hole.

Unusual Behaviors: You live with your pet day in and day out. You know all their quirks and triggers. Your pet sitter, on the other hand, is not with your pet every day. Maybe your dog coughs when he eats. Or your cat doesn't like her tail touched. These are all things that your pet sitter may not know and will need to be alerted about in order to provide the best care for your pets.

The next time you're filling out your paperwork, remember that there is no such thing as too much information for your pet sitter when it comes to your pets. They want, and need, to know it all!
