In the past, the marketing campaign of choice was PPC, which in its time was lower cost than other types of marketing. However, it has become quite expensive and is out of the reach of many small marketers, including those who have smaller budgets. There are some methods that are used for lower cost marketing but still use the familiar AdWords that the PPC campaigns used. Unlike PPC, however, you may have to use more than one campaign to get traffic that you would like to have as well as having to use a lot more key words than you ordinarily would. Normal AdWord campaigns can be built and changed at will, but if you use a more advanced method then that campaign may take several days to be approved.

Just like with other types of marketing campaigns, you have to know the steps beofre you get started. You have to chose your marketplace, build your key word lists and then create your own ad campaign. While you are using the same AdWords that you are already familiar with, you still have to proceed carefully so that you are making the most of the campaign that you have built. The more traffic that a campaign generates, the more likely you are to increase sales and return investment. Once you have some success, you will be able to add additional types of marketing or additional campaigns and use ways that are more advanced. Yoy may be forced to decide whether you want to convert to a more streamlined campaign type utilizing the Ad Words or whether you want to stick with several different campaigns to get the same kind of results.
