6.) Don't interfere with her life. If she starts dating someone else, it's ok. You can still get her back, so don't make yourself look like the jealous jerk.

7.) Remain strong, confident, and happy. If you're desperate and depressed, never let your ex girlfriend see you in a broken down emotional state.
