Well hello to all my loyal followers! Today, I will start with a wee story. Some friends and I were out shopping last weekend (big surprise), and I had the weirdest little incident. We were at Sak's 5th Avenue to see the latest designer handbags, and were all gushing over a new purse from Coach.

It was just a gorgeous handbag! Not only did it boast amazing vintage styling, but it was also constructed from the finest, most supple caramel-colored leather. I dropped to my knees over this exquisite specimen, as were my fellow shoppers. As I inspected the handbag and admired the multi-colored liner, I sensed that someone was peering over my shoulder. As I turned around I discovered another woman lusting after the very masterpiece I had in my very own hands.

Not only was I irritated, but frankly a bit nervous. The fact that a complete stranger was breathing down my personal space annoyed me, but the maniacal look in her eyes made me fear for my life! This gal looked like a junkie looking for her next fix! In past articles, I have shared my struggle with being a designer handbag junkie. It was, of course, all in good humor.

However, this woman looked clearly like she was going to attack me! I was in utter shock. Good thing I had some friends with me, otherwise, I fear we may have engaged in a catfight. I am relieved to report that I made a safe escape with my newest coach handbag. I hope this article raises awareness of the dangers of shopping for designer fashion accessories!
