Windows Movie Maker has limited supported formats like AVI, WMV and MPG. So you need to convert the camcorder videos to the WMM video format with a video converter or a video converter for mac program.

Download the video converter or video converter for mac to handle the video conversion. And then you can import the converted video to Windows Movie Maker for editing.

Click Import Collections from the File menu and locate the folder where the converted files are saved. And add the files you want to edit.

Then drag the video files to your Windows Movie Maker storyboard on the bottom of the interface.

Add transition. Select the View Video Transitions from the left pane. Drag the transitions you prefer into the middle box of the storyboard.

You can cut some time from a video by clicking and moving the half triangle at the side of the video.

Add music. Go to Import Audio or Music and select a song. Then drag the song to the TimeLine.

Add title or credits. Select Make titles or credits from the Movie Task List. And follow the instructions on the screen to add titles or credits to your movie.

Preview the work you have done by clicking the Play button on the left panel.

Well, if you don't need to reedit your videos, just click Save to my computer from the File menu and select how you want to save your result video.
