The four main theme parks on the Gold Coast are Wet 'n' Wild Water Park, Dreamworld, Sea World and Movie World. In order to be able to visit all of them you should take advantage of the different passes and discounted tickets that can be bought.

One of the passes that you can purchase is called the Fun Pass. This gives you entry into Sea World, Wet 'n' Wild and Movie World. You can use the pass for the three parks for five days from when the ticket is first activated. The passes come with photo identification and children under three do not have to pay for tickets.

There is also the Escape Pass, which allows you to visit two separate parks over a three day stretch. This park also includes Movie World, Sea World and Wet 'n' Wild. If you are planning to stay on the Gold Coast a little longer and want to take full advantage of all the thrill there are on offer at the different parks, then you might opt for the Super Pass, which permits entry to the three parks for a 14 day time period.

At Dreamworld there are also discounts and special deals that are available. When you buy a regular day entry ticket to the park you can purchase a next day ticket when you leave. This is a a nominal fee of only a few dollars that allows you to return to the park the next day and enjoy more fun at Dreamworld.

Part of the Dreamworld complex now includes Whitewater World. This is one of the most impressive water parks in the world and features some world first slides. There are rides and slides for people of all ages at the park. You can either buy this ticket separately to your Dreamworld ticket or purchase a combined entry. With the combined ticket you can go back and forth between the two parks all day as you wish.

You can often find discounted ticket prices if you shop online for your tickets in advance, or you are able to get cheaper tickets through some Australian private health insurance companies or through being a member of the Royal Automobile Club Queensland.

There is a lot to do on the Gold Coast from the beautiful beaches to the theme parks. Many people count the theme parks among their favourite part of a Gold Coast holiday and they can be enjoyed by people of any age. If you are planning to visit them, then it is worth finding out about the passes and discounts that are available in order to save on the cost of entry for the whole family.
