Your heart can make you suspicious when you see your ex quickly hang up the phone when you are near. Your heart can be immature and it can be selfish. The heart wants what it wants right now! If you make the mistake of following it and your emotions, you will most assuredly do something foolish to try to influence your ex. But it will repel them instead.

Once you've started listening to your head, you will realize how silly your heart can be. Your head only deals with hard facts, rather than desperate delusions. The logic and reason you gain from your head will give you peace. Often that feeling of peace from the constant striving for your ex can be what gets them back to you. Your head has wisdom that can lead your ex back into your arms.

The greatest lesson that can come from following your head, is that you are special and worth the time and effort and love. Your heart makes you believe the wrong things out of fear, so it won't get hurt. While the head teaches you to love yourself, put yourself first, and have the confidence to enjoy being alone so you won't get hurt. Once you've directed your love inward, your ex will finally feel true loneliness, because you've stopped trying. Once this happens, your ex's heart will start speaking loudly, and all you have to do is sit back and watch them become more and more foolishly in love with you.
