Simply make use of old shoe or jewelry boxes that you have in your home and use your imagination to give it an appealing look from the outside. You can then use such containers as storage for small items such as pens, receipts, and even hand held gadgets like your phone or iPod.

Aside from clutter, you will also have to deal with trash inside your car. To eliminate them, set up a little trash bin made of a plastic or tin can with a diameter of 7 inches. Wrap it with special covering for a more presentable look. The best place to set your trash bin is either at the backseat and the front seat or both, as long as you secure it in place to prevent it from spilling.

A car is not complete without an air freshener. It would be best if you create your own car freshener that does not contain any health threatening chemical. Get a cardboard and cut it into a shape of your choice. Do the same with a piece of fabric and glue it to the cardboard. After that, soak it in essential oil according to your scent preferences and presto! You have your own eco-friendly car freshener.
