God Is Expanding

We all accomplish the prime directive

We all accomplish the prime directive. All entities grow according to the law of expansion. They expand until they reach their limit. At that point, the entity will change is form and start the process anew (in that sense there is no limit). Being that we are part of the Godhead, we participate in this process. Why do we grow? We cannot remain the same. We must keep moving. It is a universal law. All of creation follows this principle. Why did the cosmic mind set this law for itself? I do not know.

Reincarnation is about growth. We grow spiritually by learning. As we climb the reincarnational ladder, we add unique information to the God entity. This information comes from our accumulated experience. However, it's not the experiences that make us grow, it's the lessons we learn from them. A reservoir of knowledge is useless if we do not know what to do with it. All information is collected and recorded right down to the loneliest ripple in a large pond. This experience is only as good as the lesson we derive from it. The Universal Consciousness seeks to grow wiser with each precious lesson we add to it.

During our in-between lives, we arrange tests and challenges for our next incarnation. Each time we return from the material world, we try to determine what areas need improvement. Improvement is the key to spiritual evolution. Our goal is perfection of the soul. This is the continuous process of "getting it right." Perfection is our nature and is why we set up missions for each incarnation. There are things we want to accomplish in each life. One activity that aids us in developing our missions is reflection.

Reflection is an essential part of our personal growth. Reflecting on the major events and themes of our lives help us achieve the next stage in our reincarnation cycle. Planning for our forthcoming incarnation is conducted giving careful consideration to those areas of our personality in need of improvement. Feel good knowing you are never alone in your journey. There are teachers and guides available to help us complete this task. It takes time to work out our issues, but that is okay, we have eternity.

We should not wait until we have transitioned to initiate the reflection process. Reflection should begin as soon as we have awakened to our infinite nature. By reflecting on our everyday dealings, we begin to form a picture of what items we need to work on in this life. Why not make this most of your time? There's no need to wait until your next incarnation to make corrections. We can become better people now. This maximizes our time.

Of course, you shouldn't get so caught up in your reflections that you start dwelling on certain events. That can be harmful. Be objective in your reflections. Try doing them during meditation when there less emotion is involved. Receive your lessons. Discover how you can improve in your relationships. That's what it's really all about.
