Aaron Rodgers threw three touchdown passes, Ryan Grant rushed for 148 yards

, and the Green Bay Packers beat the Cleveland Browns 31-3. Get Green Bay Packers tickets and see Rodgers throw a TD pass. The feeble Browns have scored only four offensive touchdowns and 72 points this season (Week 7).

Rodgers went 15-of-20 for 246 yards and three TDs. The quarterback hit Donald Driver for a 71-yard score and connected with Spencer Havner for a 41-yard TD strike in the first half. In the fourth quarter, Rodgers found James Jones open for a five-yard touchdown pass, which capped a 99-yard drive after Green Bay (4-2) stopped Cleveland at the 1. The Packers' offensive line did not give up a sack after allowing a league-high 25 coming into the contest against the Browns.

Green Bay's offensive line also opened huge holes for Grant. If the run wasn't there, Rodgers had plenty of time to throw and picked apart the Browns' secondary. Cleveland (1-6) is not playing good football. They were dominated by Green Bay, who outgained them 460-139. After leading 7-3, Rodgers threw a TD pass to Driver. The Packers knew from watching film that Cleveland blitzed their safety in certain packages, so when Rodgers saw Abram Elam coming, the quarterback hit Driver while he was in stride. Driver shook off two tackling attempts before he high-stepped into the end zone. Rodgers explained the play. He said, "We went long count and I was sitting there thinking, 'I hope that guy comes because if he comes it'll be a big play. I threw it quick and he looked quick and the rest was Driver being Driver."

Cleveland's offense could not handle the Packers' pass rush. Browns quarterback Derek Anderson was under pressure for four quarters. He finished 12-of-29 for only 99 yards (44 of those yards came in the first quarter). Cleveland did not capitalize on 1st-and-goal at the 1; they failed to score on two rushing plays and two incompletions. Towards the end of the game, Browns fans emptied the stadium and the only noise came from Packers fans chanting "Let's go Pack." Anderson admitted that Cleveland has not been playing well this season. The quarterback continued to say that his team did not execute and did not run the ball effectively. The Browns also could not protect up front when they needed to and dropped too many balls.

Cleveland coach Eric Mangini was disappointed with the Browns' performance. The coach acknowledged that they didn't play well. He was also critical with the coaching staff. Mangini stated, "I don't think we coached very well. I thought we were making progress in a lot of areas. I don't think we showed that today-at all." Green Bay tight end Jermichael Finley injured his left knee after he reeled in a pass from Rodgers in the first quarter. He did not return. Wide receiver Brett Swain also suffered a knee injury. The Packers said both players would undergo some tests early next week. Special teams star Cribbs moved into 18th place in career returning yards with 7,214. He surpassed Bruce Harper, who had 7,191 returning yards.
