Nfl Tickets - Week 3 Fantasy Studs

Here are some players that thrived in fantasy football in Week 3 and their prospects moving forward.

Peyton Manning, Quarterback, Indianapolis Colts: Manning once again has this Colts offense looking like a unit that any fan would want to buy NFL tickets to see play, despite the absence of number two receiver Anthony Gonzalez. Manning is feeding the ball to Reggie Wayne and Dallas Clark, and he's also developing a rapport with Pierre Garcon. The future Hall-of-Famer looks like he will be passing the ball a lot this season, at least until the running game improves. Manning has been fantastic thus far this season and it looks like he'll make his owners happy on a weekly basis yet again.

Maurice Jones-Drew, Running Back, Jacksonville Jaguars: Jones-Drew had a huge day in Week 3, scoring three times against the Houston Texans. Now that he's the lone back in Jacksonville, he's going to be a fantasy force all season. The Jags might not be a great team, but they're going to run the ball a ton and that means plenty of work for Pocket Hercules, who is a threat to score from near and far.

Pierre Thomas, Running Back, New Orleans Saints: Thomas didn't play in the first half against the Bills, but busted out to the tune of 126 rushing yards and two scores in the second half. This was his first action of the season and he made the most of it. A lot of owners took Thomas early in their drafts and he should produce at a relatively high level. Beware of Mike Bell's return, though, as the Saints like what they saw from him and he could steal carries from Thomas on a weekly basis.

Santana Moss, Wide Receiver, Washington Redskins: Where did this outburst come from? Moss had been pretty quite through the first two weeks of the season, but broke out in Week 2 with a 178-yard performance, adding a touchdown as well. The Redskins have struggled as a team, but perhaps they're trying to get Moss more involved thanks to his deep-play ability. Moss has the potential to have big games throughout the course of the season, but don't expect him to be the most consistent of fantasy players.

Vernon Davis, Tight End, San Francisco 49ers: Davis has all the potential in the world, but motivation problems and distractions have hindered him from becoming the kind of star that he's capable of growing into. Davis has top-end speed and strength at the position and showed it in Week 3, amassing 96 receiving yards and two touchdowns. While I've thought he's been ready to breakout for a couple of years now, this could finally be the season. Quarterback Shaun Hill's arm, which is no rocket, and conservative style should result in his looking Davis' way quite often.

DeSean Jackson, Wide Receiver, Philadelphia Eagles: Jackson is showing himself to be the playmaker that he hinted at being last season and the Eagles are looking for ways to get him involved. He's still more of a deep threat than anything else, which could result in some inconsistency, but his big games will be huge ones.
