This guide comes with detailed plans showing you how to make you own solar panels, these can be made for less than $100. the plans are easy to follow, and they don't require any special tools. You will have to make a trip to any local hardware store to get the supplies needed though.

As a bonus, the GreenDIYEnergy ebook also comes with plans to make a wind turbine. I'll be honest, this looks much tougher to build than the solar panels, but it definitely looks like it could be build by any handyman with moderate skills. Kep in mind, you might need to get permits from your town before you start building the wind turbine.

The videos included show you step by step how to build both the solar panels and the wind turbine. The videos are good quality, but I think the author could have spent a little more time on the videos. Don't get me wrong, the videos are worth the price of the entire guide. You're literally held by the hand and walked step by step through the enitre process. However, they look like they were shot with a normal camcorder. I think the author could have invested a little more to make better quality videos.

Overall, I'd say the GreenDIYEnergy ebook is a good purchase. you'll get the guides that walk you through build both the solar panels, as well as the wind turbine. You'll also get detailed wiring plans for both. Videos and a DIY home energy audit put this product on my recommended list.
