Travel will never be a problem with its built-in automatic voltage adjustment system that allows you to use the Braun 8985 anywhere in the world with 100 to 240 volts power. It is equipped with Nickel-Hydride batteries that require typically 1 hour to fully charge or a quick charge of 3 to 5 minutes. A fully charged cell is enough for 50 minutes of shaving while a quick charge is enough for 1 shave of about 5 minutes. It does not have the LCD display, though of the Activator that would show the power and cleaning status.
