Theme parks are the best option for kids to play and spend a whole day with friends and family

. They have lots of adventure rides, water rides, play zones, theme gardens, and kids rides. Since a theme park is dominated with children, it should be constructed keeping safety in mind. Precautions should be taken to avoid all major injuries. There are few safety tips that should be considered by visitors and the employees of the theme park -

1. Avoid getting Burnt: Visitors at theme parks more often suffer from rashes, heat exhaustion, sunburns and heatstroke than all other major injuries put together. To avoid all these instances, water can act as a best friend which prevents heat-related sickness at theme parks. Consuming the routine quota of water in a day will not help that much compared to starting to get hydrated two-three days before the trip. Even though there are lots of drinks available at theme parks such as sugary drinks, fruit juices and sodas that claim to help you stay energized and hydrated.

In reality, these drinks will add calories and increase the possibility of sun-stroke. They are not a recommended substitute to water. Its advisable to carry a waterproof sunscreen and apply it multiple times in the day. Comfortable shoes and socks should also be part of essential kit.

2. Always follow Safety Instructions: One should avoid entering zones which are restricted with a marking of a danger sign board. Avoid climbing or hoping across the fence or walking through gates meant only for employees. If you happen to drop a bag or hat under the roller coaster ride or any restricted zone, dont just enter the area. Instead, seek for help.

3. Important Contact Details: While visiting theme park, its important to have all the necessary contact details handy. An injury can happen anytime and spending too much time in search of details can turn out to be dangerous. In such cases, doctors, ambulance and theme parks medical assistance details are important. 5. Avoid Cheating: Safety restrictions exist for a reason. One should take them seriously and not misuse them. Parents should guide children to follow all the rules that are mentioned on the sign boards and guidebook before entering a ride. Kids should not use tricks to look taller than their actual height. They should maintain discipline while standing in the queue and not cut lines. This can lead to nasty fight and injure someone. If you happen to notice anyone who is breaking any rule, inform the security officer.
