The question of gun control continues to be a very controversial debate not only in this country

No one can deny that in certain places at certain times, it can be very dangerous to even walk the streets unless you have some sort of self protection and for many people, they believe that this would be a firearm. There are a variety of ways you can conceal your gun on your person or in a container of some sort, but they will not all work for all people. If you could just walk around with it in a holster like the old west days, it would be easier, but unfortunately this is not an option for most people and might not be a great idea anyway.

Most clothing items people wear everyday to work or other places are not conducive for wearing a shoulder or side holster. Easier methods of taking your firearm with you without it being strapped directly onto your body is to use a concealed carry briefcase or a concealed carry purse for ladies. Using one of these carrying methods means you can have your gun close at hand in a specialized hidden compartment that only you know about and makes getting to your weapon quick and easy if needed.

If you own a firearm, you probably do so because you want to be prepared to defend yourself if you are put into the position where you have to. A laser grip can mean the difference in hitting your target or not. The beam of light that shoots out when you grip your gun will direct your aim straight to where you want your bullet to go. It is very helpful in fading light or the dark. It is also helpful for those that have a less than perfect aim or eyesight that is lacking in some way.

Not everyone wants to carry a gun, but they also realize the importance of being able to protect themselves against an attacker. Pepper spray can be a perfect alternative to a firearm. It is extremely effective when sprayed directly into or even close to the eyes of an attacker. You can purchase a mount for your home or car separately for your pepper spray so that you can keep it very close and handy at all times. Being able to get to your weapon quickly, whether it is a gun or pepper spray is vitally important if you want to be able to fend off someone that is trying to harm you.
