HTC Chacha Comes with a Dedicated Facebook Button

HTC have been making her number of high-end smart phones over the years, but with the launch of the HTC Chacha they will be entering into the market that is quite a known for them. This is because this new phone will be the first social networking phone from HTC and it promises to start a new era in the mobile phone industry. The new phone will be having all the good features of other high-end smartphones along with the capability of supporting the social networking sites in the best possible way. This new phone will be employing a touch screen display and a full QWERTY keyboard in a BlackBerry like fashion. This makes this one of the most enjoyable phones to work with.

The phone looks very much like a BlackBerry and it is mostly down to the compact dimensions of the phone. Even though it has a touch screen display and a full QWERTY keyboard, it still measures just 114.4 x 64.6 x 10.7 mm in dimensions, which make it an extremely compact phone for all ages. The weight of the phone is also kept low at 120 g, which will certainly be appreciated by heavy travellers. In spite of all these aspects, the HTC Chacha still comes with the capability of being able to incorporate both the touch display and the full QWERTY keyboard. While the full QWERTY keyboard is similar to the BlackBerry phones of today, the touch screen display will be measuring 2.6 inches in size. However, the most interesting aspect of the screen is not in the size, but the resolution of 320 x 480 pixels. This is one of the best in large screens and is even more impressive in this 2.6 inch screen.

It is one of the very few phones that are becoming within the Android 2.4 OS as standard. This operating system has not been released at all, but it will be featuring this operating system by virtue of being released later this year. This operating system is expected to carry a number of significant changes that will make it compatible with the Android 3.0 OS, which was recently released for the tablet PCs. Even though the main focus of the phone is accessing the social networking sites, it will still be coming with a five megapixel camera that has various options like face detection, LED flash and autofocus. The access to the social networking sites is also very simple in the HTC Chacha due to the presence of the Facebook one touch access button.

This button will quickly access the social networking application that is present in the phone by default. Hence, you need not go shopping around for social networking applications after buying the HTC Chacha. The HTC Chacha has just been unveiled by the company in the MWC 2011 and it was one of the stars of the show due to the fact that it will be starting a new era within the industry.
