The online retailer Amazon.co.uk has stated that the HTC Desire Z Contractis scheduled for a October 11, 2010 release in the UK market. Further, the web portal informs that the HTC Desire Z will be priced SIM free at 429.99. And has also claimed that this smartphone handset from HTC will be priced no less than 499. But all this information is obtained from Amazon only. There is as yet no official release date and price details announced by the Taiwanese mobile phone major.

The network service providers operating here O2, Orange, 3 Mobile, T-Mobile, Vodafone, Virgin Mobile have also yet to release officially any HTC Desire Z deals. Though they are believed to be working on releasing some juicy HTC Desire Z contracts any day now. They have begun to do so ever since, HTC held that conference in London in the first week of September and officially unveiled the HTC Desire Z along with the HTC Desire HD.

It is also rumoured that 3 Mobile is coming out with a 30 per month HTC Desire Z contract plan very soon. There is obviously tremendous excitement attached to the HTC Desire Z with both the industry stalwarts and the lay user eagerly looking forward to it.

And why not? The HTC Desire Z is obviously going to be handset that any smartphone user would like to own. After all, who can resist the temptation of its 3.7 inches wide capacitive touchscreen that has a unique mechanism supporting its display capabilities. It has abandoned the AMOLED technology due to some technical reasons. The HTC Desire Z runs on the Android 2.2 Froyo OS and has the 800 MHz Qualcomm processor powering it along. A five mega pixel camera device is there to bring out the photographer in you.
