HTC Launch The New Wildfire-The Perfect Budget Smartphone

The HTC Wildfire is an impressive mobile smartphone minus all the bells and whistles of some of the top of the range models. The result is an appealing phone at a price good enough to appeal to many consumers.

Ignoring many of the features on offer and looking at the Wildfire purely as a mobile phone, the handset operates very well. During a call both voices can be heard with great clarity thanks to both a high quality earpiece and microphone. In order to make this phone competitively priced, HTC have made some slight cutbacks such as reducing the screen resolution and removing features such as active wallpapers. Not only does this prove less strain on the processor, but also give the phones battery performance a dramatic boost. Thus the user can achieve over 8 hours of 3G talktime or up to 690 hours in standby. The HTC Wildfire is available in a range of colours, and coupled with the fact that it is also very pleasing on the eye, it is obvious that this model will prove popular with the younger audiences. The aforementioned social networking facilities will also add to this appeal.

Like many HTC handsets before it, the HTC Wildfire uses the excellent user interface developed by the brand which is named "Sense". The beauty of Sense is that it makes using the phone so much easier. Some of the features on offer are so logical it is amazing they are not standard on other handsets. The helicopter view of the homescreens for example offers a simple overview of all of your homescreens, leaving you to simply choose the one you require, rather than having to scroll through multiple screens. The superb Friendstream function brings together your Facebook and Twitter accounts in one easily manageable place. This not only make viewing your friends updates an easy affair, but also enables you to post to both sites at the same time. The Wildfire is also a great portable audio player, with both a 3.5mm headphone jack and an RDS tuner present. Coupled with the units ability to handle lots of different audio file formats, the Wildfire is perfect for music lovers. The HTC Wildfire, despite being lower specification than many smartphones, will be a hit with the younger market as well as with newcomers upgrading from feature phones.
