The signal level meter supports CATV signal measurement, C/N measurement, return path measurement, auto test, data logging, spectrum analysis and voltmeter functions.

The signal level meter, model1185B, operates at two optional frequency ranges - 46MHz to 870MHz and 5MHz to 870MHz. It provides flexible operation for measuring and displaying the amplitude of a signal at a specific frequency defined by the user.In LEVEL and SPECTRUM test modes, the meter offers a peak-hold function for level measurement which enables it to detect occasional disturbances efficiently. This signal level meter is able to conduct FCC standard limit testing and transmission as well as reflection characteristic testing; it also verifies proper signal level of any channel.
