Happiness is as a butterfly !
The foolish man seeks happiness in the distance
, the wise grows it under his feet. The mind is its own place, and in itself, can make heaven of Hell, and a hell of Heaven. Happiness is as a butterfly which, when pursued, is always beyond our grasp, but which if you will sit down quietly, may alight upon you. That is happiness; to be dissolved into something completely great. Most people are about as happy as they make up their minds to be. The Grand essentials of happiness are: something to do, something to love, and something to hope for.All the above is what I picked from the web a friend asked me "how can you be so happy always? with so many things happening around". I must have said this many times. I never wait for big event to make me happy. The secret is to find happiness in every thing small. Ya of course, mishaps are there everyday. Ups and downs are there everyday. Disappointmentsare there every day. So? So it does not feel bad? It feel, it feels terrible. It feels like dying sometimes. It feels so, till I find the reason to bounce back to life, to happiness. It does not have to take days to find reasons to be happy, you can find it the very next second. All problems and miseries are there to be there and to be resolved. Not to kill your happiness and yourself with it. Even worst of worst situations can bring me down only for day or two max.
No I don't claim that I am born like this or I have been like this forever. The smallest happening would make me sad for days. And bigger happenings would keep me low for ages. It looked like life was full of miseries and very little happiness. It felt I have more bad luck in store for me. There used to be more tears and less smiles. But I have learnt. It does not make sense wasting time and energy brooding about circumstances. Feeling miserable does not help resolving any issue. It only delays your life. Once this realization come upon, I started forcibly coming out of the mental state..and started focusing on how to resolve it. Slowly it became a habit. Slowly every thing had a positive side. Slowly life a really beautiful and happy. Today happiness is in every small thing.
How and when i learnt.. it is life which is the teacher and when; years ago when there was no other go. Andentrepreneurship has shaped it and fine tuned it. Now I am a professional
Share: . It actually surrpised me, when I jotted down what all can bring happiness in my day..I am not considering the professional onesits those little ones which touch me personally. I feelbutterflies around..smell of roses in the air..those little happiness.
The photo of Aditi ( my darlingniece), hearing her voice say peiamma', hear my sister smile (seriously not laugh, just smile) over the phone, brings butterflies around. The little fellow' monkey who sits on my table always brings a smile on my face, when i stare into his eyes. The baby Ganesha who sits on my table keeps his smile aways on me.. it feels refreshing I bring a smile on another's face, when i look at Narayani on my desktopthoughts of my next car i can go on. All I do is find happiness around. Happiness is a butterfly, look around and you will find it.
