A friend of mine has bats in her house. She lives in North Carolina and they were told that these bats are endangered. I saw that this Live Catch Trap was made from galvanized metal so I looked up the reason why. According to what I found, galvanized metal is less likely to rust. That means that this Live Catch Trap will work well outside if they needed to use the trap for something else in the future.

This Havahart Live Catch Trap is great for my new-mom friend because it is safe to use around children. She also has two dogs. She doesn't have to worry about them getting into the trap and there are no poisons used for them to eat either. Once she captures the little creatures she can take them somewhere else to relocate them. This should make the animal control officer happy and she is not going to harm the bats in anyway by doing this.
