Having A Blast At Night In The Windy City

Since the mid1980s Chicago, and dance music have gone hand-in-hand when a little

club called The Warehouse, and its resident DJ Frankie Knuckles gave birth to House, and the world of nightclubs has never looked back. Well, to be accurate it has because House is an extension of Disco, which fused soul, funk, and with synthesizer drums...only House took dance music, and gave it some balls. Great DJs have thus been spawned all over the world in the last 30 years, as has all kinds of other club genres from new wave, to goth, to electro, and techno, not to mention Italo Disco, hip-hop, and ambient.

It is said that the term House was also cemented by Chip E who was working at Importes Etc record shop, and used to fill one of the racks with vinyl under the heading "As Heard At The Warehouse," which was later shortened to simply "House."

But of course Chicago has long been a center for live music, for blues, jazz, soul, and gospel, and summer festivals such as Lollapalooza, Pitchfork, Intonation, North Coast Music Fest, and the Hideout Block Party to name but a few.

However, it is the awesome club scene that nightlife and Chicago are synonymous with these days, and with over 200 clubs to choose from across the Windy City it is no wonder people come out to play, and enjoy the buzz of the bright lights, and party feel...a feel that never sleeps it seems, as there is always a great night in store whatever day of the week in Chicago.

That makes Chicago the ideal nighttime venue for celebrating special occasions, or just simply pulling out the stops with friends every once in a while. And there is no better way of seeing a city at night than in a stretch limousine. Whether it's a 21st birthday, bachelor bash, prom night, bachelorette party, or annual Christmas works do, hiring a Lincoln Navigator, or Cadillaac Escalade is what more, and more people are doing to make their special night even more special, especially when there is a large party of 20, or even 26. Cruising the city in a stretch limo is the ideal way to get to party destinations at clubs, bars, or restaurants, and of course saves one of the gang from having to be designated driver.

These limos are that big, you can even begin the party early, and dance in them. In fact, many people have come to nickname stretch limos mobile disco's because not only is there the leg room to stand up and boogie, they always come laden with "refreshments," floor-to-ceiling laser light shows, and full-on CD/MP3, or iPhone hookup stereo playback. There's so much room in them you could even get Mr Knuckles in there with his decks, and vinyl!
