1. Recognize what happened. (Why did he dump you) Did you cheat or did he. If you cheated, he was not giving you what you needed

so you looked elsewhere. If he cheated, you were the one not giving him what he

needed. It is important to forgive and forget. You need to let go of the anger

related to the incident. If you cannot do this just forget ever getting him back.

2. If you were the person at fault, apologize and mean it when you say you are

sorry.

3. If you want him back, do not chase him. Lay off the texts,do not call him and

do not just show up where he happens to be.

4. Start to work on yourself. Become a more positive person. Don't throw a pity

party for yourself. That won't get him back.

5. Remember what made your relationship strong when you were together. Think about

the good times you had. What brought you together in the first place.

6. If you are having trouble dealing with your emotions, sit down and write him a

letter talking about all of the fun times you had, how hurt you are now and all

of the things you wished you had told him.

Then DO NOT MAIL IT: BURN IT.

You will feel better because you got it out and it will give you some closure.

Now you will be able to start working on your strengths and weaknesses to be a

better person.

7. Do not stay home. Go out with friends. Look your best at all times. Get a new

hair-do, wear something that makes you feel desirable,sexy, good about yourself.

8. Be available to date others. If he sees you out having a good time without him

he will remember what he liked about you when you first met and it may just do

the trick to get him back into your life.

A final thought for you: Once you start working on yourself,gaining the confidence

you need to go on, you may find you don't miss him like you thought you would. It may

be time to move on to a new relationship,you know your soul mate is still out there
