Healthy Energy Drink Recipe
If this "energy" drinks really good for you? Do they really increase your energy? Are they really a kind of magical energy formula? Will they help you lose weight?
First, you can watch what most of these drinks look like much in the rule. Most of them are just water with the intestine of feeding corn syrup, high fructose (or other added sugar), caffeine, taurine charged with carbonic acid, and added some Look for Vitamin shit man Trick to think it's something healthy in these mixtures.
Let's start with the syrup fructose corn (HFCS). Well, here we have empty calories that go straight to your belly fat, and what can be worse for you than refined sugar simple old (although the debate, but the semantics of the image) was obtained. Energy drinks and other sugar instead of HFCS, but it does not really matter because they are all well-mast empty calories with no nutritional value.
Ok, so you say they are also low in sugar or sugar-free varieties as an alternative to energy drinks HFC-load. Yes, but now you have the problem of harmful chemicals in artificial sweeteners which have their own set of risks to health.
Another problem with artificial sweeteners is that there are studies that use sweeteners that causes people to consume more calories and inadvertent weight gain over the point on the long term ... plus a negative hormonal effects in the body. I will not go into all the details on this topic, because it would fill an entire discussion in itself.
Trust me, is that artificial sweeteners and artificial chemicals in food in general, just bad news for your body! There is never a good idea to try to trick your body with artificial flavor.
What about caffeine?
Well, first of all, caffeine does not in itself an "energy". Technically, the only substance that actually provides calories of energy (carbohydrates, proteins and lipids).
However, caffeine can stimulate or aid its wake some people by stimulating the central nervous system.
Instead of caffeine added artificially carbonated drink "energy", I prefer my caffeine from a natural source like green tea, oolong or white (or my new favorite - Yerba Mate tea) actually provide a very powerful antioxidants too !
Note, however, if you're a daily coffee drinker and regular, you probably have some degree of dependence on caffeine and would probably not get many benefits of caffeine in an energy drink anyway.
Tip: try drinking more tea and reduce your consumption of coffee a few days a week max to reduce your dependence on caffeine. Most teas contain less caffeine than coffee, tea and some (such as green, oolong and white) contain phytochemicals, which include the synergistic reaction of caffeine they work slowly. This means that you get a lower reaction of caffeine in green tea, oolong or white compared to the response more difficult nervous that some people can have coffee.
What, then, that so-called magical blend of B vitamins and taurine they load into these energy drinks?
Well, big problem ... You taurine in almost any protein source. And the vast majority of these artificially added B vitamins are easy to find directly in the toilet to pee in your. Vitamins are naturally the best source of food obtained from a real, not artificially added to some soft drinks. Your body simply does not use fake sources of vitamins as readily as natural sources of real life.
As you can see, in my opinion, I give all these energy drinks A Thumbs Down great time! Do not fall into the ridiculous marketing of all these so-called "energy drinks".
Instead, here's my recipe for my own energy drink home:
1. Have a great iced tea mixed with green tea, white tea, and Yerba Mate. I would like to add a little fruit flavor, so I will teabag a raspberry or cranberry hibiscus tea, use, and then use 2-3 green and / or white tea, and 2-3 bags of yerba mate tea, iced tea and make a gallon. I have a small amount of stevia to sweeten slightly the lot of tea.
2. I buy a container of coconut water from an organic food store, or buy fresh coconuts to the coconut water inside to receive.
3. Energy drink for my health, I mix half a glass of white / green / mix Yerba Mate iced tea and fill rest of glass with coconut water.
It's actually a healthy and tasty energy drink really crappy place of energy drinks in charge of chemicals that everyone always suckered into buying these days.
The green, white and Yerba Mate teas contain a small dose of caffeine with a diverse mix of powerful antioxidants and phytochemicals synergistically. In addition, coconut water is a rich source of electrolytes and a variety of vitamins and minerals. Coconut water is known to be a good time to provide a source of energy, and also contains a small amount of medium chain triglycerides (MCT), healthy fats that are easy to use energy and also help your immune system.
So enjoy the healthy natural energy drink, knowing that your body feels good place filled with chemicals with normal store-bought energy drinks.
