Basic Qualification

You must have a General Certificate of Secondary Education (GCSE) or an equivalent qualification in English, Mathematics and Science. To teach in classes, you need a Bachelor of Arts (B.A), or a Bachelor of Sciences (B.Sc). You also need to have a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed). You also need to have relevant experience of teaching, to take up Teaching Jobs in Leicester. It could be vocational experience or in-class training.

Training

Where to Apply

If you wish to complete your Initial Teacher Training (ITT), you have to apply to the Graduate Teacher Training Registry (GTTR). Applications are accepted by early September.
