High School Jazz Band and Its Essential Points for One's Career

Many high school admirers of jazz participate in a jazz band. Taking active part in playing trumpets, tuba, drums, and other musical instruments, these people enjoy their life pretty much, doing some useful things for their high school and community. Admirers of Luis Armstrong dedicate most of their time to playing musical instruments and at the same time receive a great satisfaction, doing something they like the most.

The most essential points of a jazz band player are:

Ability to substitute another player whenever it is required. Pretty often jazz band players get sick or get a sore throat. Ability to play is one of the most important ones. Throat, tongue, lips and lungs work the most when the person blows, performing a specific tune. Having sore throat deprives the person of this ability. Though a sad coincidence, any jazz player must consider it for it may occur any time.

Working in a team, playing the tune in a chore with others. Pretty often jazz players play out of tune which makes conductors very angry and in certain cases drives them mad. To avoid this a person must dedicate most of his/her spare time to playing jazz in order never to play out of tune again, making other players suffer and undergo unpleasant feelings and impressions.

And finally a person, taking active interest in jazz and playing in a band must not be afraid of crowd, being a discipline and well brought up person. This means that his/her costume always reflects discipline manner and in most cases it is pretty clean, shining like polished furniture. Also the person playing does not ever shake like a leaf, waiting for the whole event to be over. Music is created to be enjoyed and admired by the most people. It is not ever to scare them away.
