Highschool To Uni Hitting Rock Bottom

Leaving school for university can be very hard

. With the way the world is and the way life is never good enough for most people to feel right about who they are, where they are, and what they want to do - at just the right time. When it comes to making those real important decisions in life where all probably scared to death.

The world has a lousy reputation of taking care of people, and is almost always not what people need. So going straight from High school to university is a difficult idea, But so is the opposite Its just as difficult and tricky. The truth is with the build up to either of these choices either way is probably a dead end. ( and then later something worthwhile )

In life we are Like lambs led forward. Which is why i think some misfortune can be a good thing, Often a neccesary thing. Because in life we go to sleep and move forward accepting barrier after barrier; never really fitting a mold but never growing into the mold we could be. Because we are almost never awake in the first place. We coast along emotionally without realising it, and We don't wake up until something wakes us up and we think for ourselves.

Otherwise the more we follow a choice or a point view, the more we need to belief it is true. The more we invest in something the more we need it to be the right ( even if it isn't ) and we don't know what really matters and live it until we hit rock bottom.

Which can be a surprisingly, wonderfully, relieving experience; A sort of calmness and true sense of reality. We fail at everything miserably and feel like nothing in a black void of a larger nothing. And think "i was allways already here" there is nothing between me and the void all my life, I am just as good as dead.

But i'm still breathing, i'm still thinking. I exist despite the difference, I have everything or whatever i can get. I have only to move onwards and upwards.

Many people i have met or know, have experienced a similiar event horizon in their life. From either side of going to uni or working. They all change at one point and seem more real. Then they chase what ever matters to them because they can feel that it really does. We are finally alone ( which is surprisingly hard to truly be ) and direct our lives from our own thoughts and feelings.

Its the people who don't hit bottom, and don't realise their sense of selves that i feel sorry for. So don't worry what ever choice you may choose, hitting rock bottom may just be one of the most amazing experiences of your life. after all the future is an adventure.
