Hinduja Group Among Asian Business Awards Winners

LONDON: The multi-billion Hinduja Group has won the Lifetime Achievement Award instituted by the Asian Business Awards.

Receiving the award, Hinduja Group Chairman Srichand Hinduja said the recognition goes to the entire Asian community, which has made a substantial contribution to the economic growth of Britain.

"The award is for you, but it will be kept in our custody," said G P Hinduja, Vice-chairman of the Group.

"This year's winners show that Asian entrepreneurship is well and truly alive, even in these very tough times." Kalpesh Solanki, group managing editor for the Asian Media & Marketing Group, which publishes Eastern eye, said.
