Every single-parent family is a tragedy in the childs life and in the life of a parent as well. It is very difficult to juggle work, baby and other activities. It is not surprising that sometimes the idea of receiving education does not occur to single Moms. They are often depressed and think that they will forever be stuck in low-paid jobs, earning their living and nothing more. They need to find strengths and make a decision to enter a college.
Beside the constant lack of time the lack of funds may become a serious problem for a single Mom. It is difficult to find money to afford the bare necessaries of life, not to mention the college expenses. As a consequence, the family will always make ends meet and the womans potential will be ruined. Many years later Mom may say to the child that she sacrificed the whole her life to him/her.
Applying for the financial aid
Actually the sacrifice is unnecessary. At the moment single Moms can apply for financial Aid and be supported by the government. This Financial Aid could even provide some extra money for paying some other living expenses beside the college expenses. But before applying for financial aid a woman can look for a scholarship or a grant. It is important that these programs do not require paying money back.
