Hiring Trends In 2012 Favors Mba Graduates

. In a new study conducted by the Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC), several points are indicated on MBA degree holders. This study pointed that MBA graduates from India expects more salary than graduates with similar MBA qualifications from any part of the world. A two-year MBA course graduate in India expects about 200% more job offers from their pre-degree earnings.
In India, most of the employers want to hire MBA graduates in 2012. According to the report, nearly 88% of corporate India plans to hire business management graduates in 2012. Last year, in 2011 about 89% companies did management graduates.
This report also indicated that demand would be strong in the Asia Pacific region in 2012. The hiring trends in 2012 are also expected to be in favor of MBA graduates. Companies in the Asia Pacific region will be doing more recruitment of MBA degree holders. It is expected that 80% hiring of MBAs, which is 9% increase from last year.
The GMACs survey was conducted among management education students who are in the final year. This survey asked questions from 366 graduate management students who are enrolled in 136 business institutes across the world.
Another interesting pointed in this survey is the number of students with job offers. About 62% of students in their final year B-School Education had an employment offer at the time of this survey. Students with executive degree and part time program have employment offers even before the completion of their management education.
The companies in the Asia Pacific are expected to hire more MBA graduates than the firms in US. The new recruits are likely to give responsibilities away from their home region. It is pointed in this survey that firms based in Asia are more focused on growth and is trying to increase their customer base. The Asian firms in 2012 are also trying to expand geographically too.
For information of readers, the postgraduate courses in management are available in regular and part time basis. In India, a variety of specializations is available like marketing, finance, information technology and human resources. These specializations are industry oriented and on completion of course make students industry ready.
The new recruits are probably to provide responsibilities removed from their home region. it's pointed during this survey that corporations primarily based in Asia are a lot of centered on growth and is making an attempt to extend their client base.
