Home Based Business - Not Receptive To Doubt
Two major rationales which people pitch to me as to why there a reluctant to engage
in a home based business are a fear of failure, and doubting one's self. These two things get in the way of our ability to construct a plan for success. Instead, we rationalize with an inner-voice which tells us that success is improbable, and accept this as actual fact. Thus, to be successful in any home based business, you must cast fear and self-doubt aside, develop a plan of action, and work your plan to success.
Self-doubt and fear are very common. So common in fact that while many people experience self-doubt and fear at some point in their lives, they still take action. By taking action, they are able to prove to themselves that what they once doubted they are capable of, and what they once feared, they are amazing at. Conversely, others remain stagnant, and are only confident in areas of life in which they were forced to take action, such as work. Still fear overcomes them when it comes to new things such as career advancement, learning new skills, or forming new relationships.
Anyone who allows fear and self-doubt to dictate their lives are losing out on potentially life changing events. If you do not take steps for make good things happen in your life, then chances are that good things will not happen in your life. It is quite common for individuals considering a home based business to convince themselves that they will ultimately fail. Therefore, such individuals fail to take action. Of course, if you do not take action, there is no chance of success.
Feelings of fear and self-doubt come from different sources, and in different forms. Whatever the form or source may be, we can learn how to meet them head on, and counteract them. I have compiled a list of then things which anyone can do to eliminate fear and self-doubt, and bring huge home based business success.
1. Write out a list of each of your fears. Acknowledgement will allow for confrontation.
2. Determine how each of these fears and self-doubt adversely affect your life.
3. Be conscious of those negative voices in your head, and expose them.
4. Build a support network of individuals who experience your same fears and self-doubt.
5. Become a member of an existing of individuals with problems similar to your own.
6. Exchange your adverse messages and thoughts with those of positivity and assurance. Act in accordance with these thoughts of positivity and assurance.
7. Read articles and books which motivate you to take action.
8. Identify your past negative experiences, and leave them in the past.
9. List your goals and the actions which you need to take in order achieve them.
10. Take these actions daily. Each time you accomplish something which beings you closer to your goals, your self-doubt and fear will subside.
Just realize that fears and self-doubts will always creep up from time to time for anyone with a home based business. Recognize that this is natural, even for the so-called gurus. The difference between them and you to this point is that they did not let fears and self-doubt keep them from taking action.
