The Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India launched Honda Activa as the motor scooter

in the year 2000.Honda Activa Its a 102 CC scooter which generates 7 BHP power. It has been quite successful since its introduction in India. Honda Activa is recommended as family two wheeler and for its load carrying capacity.

Honda Activa is available with two options; Self start and Kick start. The chassis of Honda Activa is made of molded steel sheet and has high rigidity. Becuase of this rigid chassis, the scooter can carry higher load. Honda Activa is a four stroke scooter which causes the mileage of 45-52 kmpl. The engine does not generate much noise and is quite suitable for long distance travelling.

Honda activa has total 18 litres of storage space with no loss in comfort for the rider. The space between fron part and seat can be used for keep boxes, bags or even kids. Honda Activa uses Drum brakes at both ends and is smart enough to give instant braking. There is one more technique used in this scooter, this is known as CBS. This technique controls the application of the front brake before the rear brake is used.

Fuel Efficiency- Honda Activa gives the mileage of 45 kmpl in the towns and 52 kmpl on the highways. This is efficient for the people who uses this as load carriying vehicle in the towns.
