Honda Released The Official Sketch Of The New Generation Civic
Honda Motors Co unveiled the official sketch of the upcoming Civic in line with the official twist that the company is cooking
. This twist is the creation of the new generation Honda Civic. The new generation Civic prototype will be previewed at the 2011 Detroit show that is scheduled to begin in January. The ninth generation Honda Civic will be on sale by the spring of 2011. The released sketch of the new Civic only gave a clue of the fascia while specs about the body and style are not revealed.
Honda sells about six variants of the Civic in North America which includes the coupe body style and natural gas variant. In America, the Civic is a very important model. In India, the Civic is not exactly a very important model should Honda wish to resume growth and silence the critics.
It is a very popular model in the American market and this prompts the company to sell as many variants as it could possibly release. The car maker places a very great importance to the model. However, the Indian market, the car model is seen as equally important. The new generation Honda Civic is seen to have to hit the bulls eye to meet up the expectations and silence the critics.
Honda previewed the new generation Civic in the form of a sketch and wishes to showcase a concept and not the production model in the Detroit Motor Show.
The woes about how it would be accepted is still up for later and now, the focus of many of car enthusiasts is on the sketches of the 2012 Civic. Base on the sketches released, the designs are going to be as bold as the outgoing car. The front-end seems to copy the boldness that is seen on the current European model and the sketch only seems to be of the coupe, not the hatchback or saloon.
The new Honda Civic sedan is expected to be introduced in the Indian market by the first half of 2012. As of the moment there are no information released regarding the power trains or other specifications of the car.
