Stir your paint thoroughly to mix it well and to ensure that the resin resting at the bottom of the container will mix well with the rest of the paint. Also add a paint conditioner for a smooth and easy application. Choose a paint that is methylated because this covers ink or pen stains. Just have enough paint in your can or container, don't have an excess amount of it because this tends to mess up your painting job. Make sure to reserve, a clean corner of your can to place your brush.

Always purchase a good quality brush, though this may cost a bit more, nonetheless it can yield better house paintingresults. A good brush can hold more paint, less leaks and thus result to more strokes

If your paint however is not water based, you can try soaking it in a special solution to prevent paint from caking on its fibres.
