House Siding Installation How Contractors Really Make It Work

For the last two weeks your neighbor has been painting the exterior of his home

. It looks nice now that he has completed it and put away the scaffolding, paint rollers, etc. Now you look over at your house, it sure could use a new coat of paint; and maybe some new colors on the exterior would be nice too.

You look across the street and notice there is new house siding installation going on. Wow it looks sharp! That trim is great too! You decide that new house siding installation is what you want to do. You look at several different types of home siding.

Should you do it yourself? After a few weeks of investigation, you decide what siding you want and that the house siding installation will be done by a contractor.

You have some preparation to do first before the contractors arrive. Looking around the yard you notice that you have a lot more yard ornaments than you thought and they all need to be picked up.

The next morning you start to clear the yard for the contractors to work and make a place for their materials. You have picked up the lawn ornaments and stored them in the garage. The lawn mower is still in the front yard where you left it this morning, and you will have it put in the shed later on today.

You marked off the plants with stakes and string, so that the contractors crew knows not to step or put anything in that area. You are not too concerned that there will be any damage to the yard or areas you have staked off, because the contractor and his crew wont be there for very long and they come highly recommended.

You should let the neighbors know that you are having siding installed, and that the inconvenience of your house siding installation should last no longer than a day or two. You also let the neighbors know that the job should not be as noisy as when you had a new roof put on last spring. The contractor and his crew arrive to get started on your residence.

They start stripping the old siding off your home. They clean up the old siding as fast as they are tearing it off. The dumpster company has come and gone, and here comes a couple big trucks from the local lumber yard.

You get a glimpse of the siding on the trailer; you are even more impressed with the color now that you have gotten to see the real thing. It will go wonderful with the decorative trim that you chose to go with it. You need to run a few errands, knowing that your home is good hands you go ahead and leave to get them done.

When you have completed your errands, you return home. The contractor and his crew have gone for the day. You look at the side of the home that they have the siding, trim and new rain gutters on. Wow, your home looks breathtaking! Youre pleased you chose professionals for your house siding installation.
