The American Author and Journalist Ernest Hemmingway was a regular visit to the island of Bimini after he docked his boat for the first time in the 1930's it was said that he fell in love with the island. He got into the Bimini way of life by making the most of all activities there, it is said he would swim off the beach, go snorkelling and join the locals with game fishing the lifestyle on the island is that of laid-back relaxed and Ernest Hemmingway fell into this way whenever he visited, Not a lot has changed since the time that Hemmingway would visit as the visitors today tend to do the same things, also being sure to make time to relax and take advantage of the beautiful beaches and stunning scenery.
