Then marvel at the impressive ice sculptures featured every Winterlude festival. These ice sculptures are stylishly crafted and carved by various artists all over the country. Some even add lightning effect during night time.

The best winter holiday event is food festival. So take a drive to downtown Montreal and join the Montreal Winter festival. This event is a celebration of lights, Montreal's rich culture and great food. It is considered as the best culinary festival in the world. It features fantastic street party, merri-making and food festival. Lastly, head off to Quebec for the world's largest winter carnival,Carnaval de Quebec.
