Coal is used to harness energy and this energy comes from plants. Millions of years ago, these living plants had stored energy from the sun. After the plants die, a form of energy is released as the plants decay. But this is a activity, which doesn't take place freely every the time. In certain conditions, the decline might be broken. This results in preventing the release of the accumulated solar energy.
It takes almost a million years for a dead plant to turn into coal. These plants decline and end up in the bottom of swamps, decaying for many years and forming a deep layer. Over time, the surface and the atmosphere of the earth altered, as more water and dirt washed in. This halted the decline activity. This activity created a certain number layers. The weight of the top layers packed down the decline layers of plant matter. Then, the heat and pressure caused chemical and physical changes. This resulted in, pushing out oxygen and leaving hydrocarbon-enriched deposits. In the end, the activity gradually altered the plants into coal.
All this took place anywhere from a million to 250 million years ago. in these days, companies all over the world accomplish energy and electricity by using coal. Energy is delivered from the coal by means of heat. Heat makes the atoms and molecules move faster at a durable basis. This continues until Daedalian of the electrons climb out of them. Burning coal supplies heat energy. This energy had existed all the time, in a form known to us as, probable energy. The heat releases the energy, which was accumulated inside and it turns into kinetic energy. in these days, this energy is used to run the engines and generators throughout the world.
In order to develop energy from coal first, it is pulverized into a accurate powder. Then, this powder is mixed with hot air in order to burn it more adequately. Once it is put in the furnace, the burning coal heats water in a boiler. This activity continues until the water turns into steam. After the steam is produced it is then abandoned from the boiler, which in turn powers a turbine. This activity turns the coal heat energy into mechanical energy.
Then comes the function of the steam-powered turbine. It powers a generator, which converts the machinal energy into electrical energy. This generator spins a magnet inside a copper coil, in order to prepare electrical energy. The steam again is moved through the turbine into the condenser. The job of the condenser is to cool down the steam, so that it turns back into water. Then it turns in to a repeating cycle as the water is again guided back into the boiler, meaning that the activity starts again.
