Now that many people are aware of the advantages of superior quality electric bikes

and electric bicycles, many of us have a doubt over the sales of sub-standard companies. Two main questions which come to our minds are who on earth buys these second rate products from below standard manufacturers? And how come not up to scratch' electric vehicles manage to get sold in first place?

No doubt these are genuine questions, but the answers come like a quick piercing arrow towards good quality manufactures. The basic technique is that they copy the model and working of fast selling electric bikes with some alterations to adjust to rules and law. The worse thing is that they use substandard material as well. The only thing which goes against good quality electric mopeds is the price. Their duplicate cousins are sold at less cost tempting many people to go for the offer.

Also, manufacturing and sale of sub-standard vehicles is more in under developed and still developing countries where many rules have the necessary flexibility quotient attached to them. When it comes to petrol or diesel run vehicle manufacturers, most of the brands give due importance to safety and quality is never compromised.

But, talking about the manufacturers of electric bikes and electric bicycles, there is a different angle to the scenario as the demand and supply factors are slightly different.

One more important difference between a reputed electric moped company and a sub standard manufacturer is the research and development which goes on before and while the manufacturing is still going on. Most below par companies just do not have any budget allocated to research and development purposes.

The safety aspects are also covered under research and development budget as a significant amount of research and study goes to adapt to safety measures which change from time to time or at times place to place. The quality control and testing facility is not utilized by these unsatisfactory vehicle manufacturers.

All in all, sub-standard material, less or no safety accessories, negligible R & D along with lack of creativity (duplication) is what makes sub-standard manufacturers stay in the market but this decreases durability and performance.

Hence, it is highly recommended to go for good brands which are known for their quality and precision, while choosing amongst a variety of electric bikes or electric bicycles
