By doing exercise you are working you muscles and stretching them which make them more supple and flexible.With regular exercise you increase the blood flow in the body which will provide you with more energy. It also increases blood flow to the brain which helps with your sense of well being.


Doing exercise on a regular basis has many other physical and emotional benefits. For example, it can help to lower your high blood pressure and reduce many of the chronic conditions that are associated with old age such as diabetes, heart disease and stroke. Exercise can help people with their depression and back pain. It can improve and strengthen the body's cardiovascular system that enables you to do far more activities.

With all these great benefits it is a wonder why more people are not doing more exercise. Much of it has to do with a lack of motivation. However, a quality of life without disease should be good reason to take more exercise.
