It is funny how life works - I feel the best part of life is that we always tend to misunderstand it! Whenever we feel that all is about to be lost, the dark clouds part away and things get alright. Also, just when we feel that we are about to win the jackpot, that very moment we learn that all the effort has been a waste! I too found myself in very trying circumstances in my life, and it was only with the help of Positive Mental Attitude (PMA) that things took a turn for the better. How PMA Helped Me in Turning around My Life It was not long after completing my education and getting a business degree that I started feeling lost in life. I am sure the same thing happens to a lot of people - perhaps every one of us! Anyway, even after doing a master degree in business administration, my future was not clear to me. While I was sure that I did not want to join the rat-race and sell my soul for a lot of money, I had absolutely no clue which direction to take. After much introspection, I arrived at the principle of PMA or Positive Mental Attitude. Truth be told, it showed me where I was going wrong and what direction to take in life. Here is what I learned through it: * Strengths - I learned about my strengths and natural interests. The PMA process helped me to identify that I was good at motivating people, and that I had an inclination for humor and well, perhaps even stand-up comedy. * Planning - Once I had known my strengths, I started forming a plan to achieve success. This led to graduating from Player's Workshop of the Second City, one of the most well-known comedy schools in the world. * Hard work - Yes, I was a sucker for hard work before. But with PMA, I learned to stick to my aims no matter what. After so many years, I can say that it has paid off! I know you are probably thinking that you can never do the same.
