They will take your identity for services such as paying and buying things using your name.

This is done because these thieves will not want you to see what they have been buying and taking using your name. Then if they have successfully changed your address, they will easily be able to get access and edit all other information in your account, letting them take complete control of your credit.

You should remember that once you have stopped receiving bills from your respective credit agencies, there is something not right and therefore, you need to get it checked immediately, because credit companies will always send you bills. Also these credit identity thieves can open a new account using your name which will create more damage. This may cause you to get bankrupt, or even worse, have lawsuits because of not being able to pay bills.

Also keep in mind that thieves will work very fast that even before you discover that you have been stolen from, they will make sure that they have what they want and have gotten enough. As soon as they get your personal information, they can have access to your bank accounts and withdraw all your money until you do not even have a single cent left.

Credit score identity theft proves to be a very serious problem because these thieves can even declare bankruptcy using your name and account to be able to run away from all their debts. This is a problem that nobody wants to deal with as it takes a long time before a victim can recover. So to prevent this credit identity theft, be sure to check on your account regularly and accurately.
